Her immediate family will have a celebration of her life at Lake Athens where she wanted her ashes spread.
Sharon was born on May 15, 1936 in Crookston to Verner Glass and Elaine Hellum. She lived most of her life in Thief River Falls as a wife and homemaker.
As we endure these days after Sharon’s passing, we are flooded with the most happy, wonderful childhood memories of a mother who was home every day with her children, never went anywhere without them and loved them with all her heart.
After her children grew into adulthood and spread their wings, Sharon decided to relocate to Texas to be close to all of them and remain in their lives. There she decided to work part-time at Alto Food Center, B&B Foods, and also for the city elections.
Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family, loved being a homemaker, cooking and baking. All the fun times spent at the lake were some of the happiest of her life.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Deborah (Jerry) Bregier Watson of Alto, TX, and Heidi (Dennis) Bregier Johnson of Alto, TX; son, Michael (Aleita) Bregier of Paris, TX; grandson, Ryan (Anna) Bregier of Minneapolis; and three great-grandchildren, Sharon’s pride and joy, twin boys, Aaro and Zephryn, and Sloane Rose Bregier.
Sharon will also be missed by her wonderful friend, Fulvia L. Raby, who had become part of our family.
Thank you to the Arbors staff for all the love, kindness and care they gave to Sharon during these last five difficult months. Their strength and support got our family through this painful time. Also, thank you to Hospice Plus for all their compassion and loving care.
Sharon loved this quote: “This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever, in its place is something that you have left behind... let it be something good.”
